Comic-Con: ET Interviews The Cast of TMI

Check out this fabulous interview the TMI cast had with ET this past weekend at Comic Con. Listen to what they have to say about the movie and their dishing on the love story.

Here's what ET had to say in their article:
Comic-Con fans have been in love with The Mortal Instruments story from day one and the film's cast got to experience that love firsthand over the weekend.
"I think it has all the trappings of a real epic story -- the kind that people who come to Comic-Con kind of love and embrace," said author Cassandra Clare, explaining their warm reception at the event. "I'm really excited for us to be here ... I want people who are familiar with it to get to see the characters that they love and people who aren't familiar with it to see how awesome it is."
Based on Clare's adult fantasy novels, the action-adventure movie follows teenage girl Clary Fray (Lily Collins), who sets on a quest to rescue her mother from a demon that took her from their home inNew York City. In the course of her search, her life is forever changed by the family secrets she uncovers.

Comic Con: Lily Collins Talks to Clever TV About Winning The Rule of Clary & Her Favorite TMI Movie Scene

One of the things I've loved about Lily Collins playing the role of Clary is that she had long been a fan of the series, and had actually read the book before she was cast. Here Lily talks about winning the role of Clary, the scenes with Valentine & Jace, and her favorite scene, which is our favorite one, the greenhouse scene.

Comic Con: Godfrey Gao & Cassandra Clare Talk to Joblo Movie Network About The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones

Joblo movie network talks to Godfrey & Cassie about The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones movie. I totally love the question he asked Cassie and her answer back.

Comic-Con: Veronica Roth's Comic-Con Diary

I totally love this! While at Comic-Con, Veronica Roth was one of a few authors asked to document their experience. Having attended the Divergent press panel I can saw Veronica was awesome!! She seemed so cool and collective. I can only imagine the nerves she kept at bay, because I would have been freaking out. haha

Here's a snippet from her diary:

Two years ago, a few months after I sold “Divergent” movie rights to Summit Entertainment, I went to Comic-Con for the first time. I was mostly just an observer — I had a short press conference in which I explained my book, I people-watched Harry Potter cosplayers to my heart’s content, and that was about it. This year, however, with the “Divergent” movie being released on March 21, 2014, I embarked on a day packed with interviews, a press conference, a panel and a party in the midst of this fantastic nerd wonderland known as San Diego Comic-Con.
7 a.m. The nerves hit me in my sleep. For someone who spends most of her time in front of a computer screen, alone, the idea of speaking in front of 6,500 people in Hall H on a “Divergent” movie panel is … a little bit daunting, to say the least. I can’t go back to sleep. I hate my brain.
9 a.m. I am hungry but too nervous to eat. I still hate my brain.
9:30 a.m. In an attempt to physically prepare me for a day of being on camera, a makeup artist attaches false eyelashes to my eyelids.
9:45 a.m. I meet Neil Burger, Shailene Woodley and Theo James for a photo shoot and interview with Entertainment Weekly. During the interview, Theo jokes about his next project being art-house porn. He comes up with an entire plot on the spot, and I can’t stop laughing, which is an effective antidote to my nerves.

The Inventor’s Secret is the first book of a YA steampunk series set in an alternate nineteenth-century North America where the Revolutionary War never took place and the British Empire has expanded into a global juggernaut propelled by marvelous and horrible machinery. Perfect for fans of Libba Bray's The Diviners, Cassandra Clare's Clockwork Angel,ScottWesterfeld's Leviathan and Phillip Reeve's Mortal Instruments.

Yay for steampunk! I'm a huge fan of Andrea's, and am so excited that she has a new series coming out. I love that she's written a steampunk series. Being a huge Cassie fan, and loving her The Infernal Devices, I can not wait to get my hands on this book.

What book are you waiting to get your hands on?
