As the last Healer in the Fifteen Realms, Avery of Kazan is in a unique position: in the minds of her friends and foes alike, she no longer exists. Despite her need to prevent the megalomanical King Tohon from winning control of the Realms, Avery is also determined to find her sister and repair their estrangement. And she must do it alone, as Kerrick, her partner and sole confident, returns to Alga to summon his country into battle.

Though she should be in hiding, Avery will do whatever she can to support Tohon’s opponents. Including infiltrating a holy army, evading magic sniffers, teaching forest skills to soldiers and figuring out how to stop Tohon’s most horrible creations yet; an army of the walking dead - human and animal alike and nearly impossible to defeat.

War is coming and Avery is alone. Unless she figures out how to do the impossible ... again- quoted from Goodreads

City of Lost Souls Twitter Party

TMI fans you guys are seriously amazing! I put the word out last week about needing help with a COLS secret and I've sent out over 200 emails about what's going to be happening on Tuesday morning. THANK YOU to all of those who have responded and asked to help out. I've been secretly planning a Twitter COLS Release Party for Cassie. Myself and Jeremy West have collaborated, along with the help from a few TMI fan sites, as well as some TMI fans to get this party going. Today, myself and three other sites (TMI Source, TMI Examiner and Novel Thoughts) will be posting information about Tuesday's party.

What: To celebrate the release on City of Lost Souls and to show Cassie how much we support her, we're going to kicking off a COLS Release Party on Twitter with this:

Twitter Release Party | Cassandra Clare's City of Lost Souls| Out TODAY! | #CoLSParty @CassieClare

(*please DO NOT use this hash tag until the 10 am EST on Tuesday morning).

WhenOn Tuesday, May 8th at 10 am EST/ 9 am CST / 8 am MTN/ 7 am PST

Where: This party will mostly be taking place on Twitter, but you'll also find quite a few posts about it on Tumblr as well other sites, blogs and facebook.

The Who: All TMI fans are invited and welcome to take part in this. A special thanks goes out to the COLS street team who's secretly been spreading the word for the past two weeks. Be sure to follow them on twitter and tumblr on Tuesday morning when we kick off the COLS party.
THANK YOU to the over 200 TMI fans who have reached out be apart of the COLS Twitter Party and are now taking part in helping spread the word, and will be tweeting and posting about it on Tumblr on Tuesday! I'm looking forward to this and I know spreading the word among the TMI fandom wouldn't be possible without them, and Cassie who reposted my call for help.

Please remember we're trying to keep this under wraps until Tuesday's designated time. With Cassie writing right now and not being as active on the internet we feel we'll be able to achieve our goal!  Tuesday's party is open to everyone to join! We will have a few giveaways on Twitter. Her advisors, who have run things since Leck died, believe in a forward-thinking plan: Pardon all who committed terrible acts under Leck's reign, and forget anything bad ever happened. But when Bitterblue begins sneaking outside the castle--disguised and alone--to walk the streets of her own city, she starts realizing that the kingdom has been under the thirty-five-year spell of a madman, and the only way to move forward is to revisit the past.

City of Lost Souls Snippet #6: 3 Days Left

“It was many years ago, when Magnus and I were lovers. We were in bed together, after quite a passionate evening.” Camille saw Alec flinch, and grinned. “You know how it is with pillow talk. One reveals one’s weaknesses. ..:”

City of Fallen Angels Read A Long Day 19: Hell Is Satisfied

Welcome to Day 19 of the City of Fallen Angels Read-A-Long. You can follow the entire read-a-long and find each of the day's posts here. Remember there's no right or wrong way to participate. Your comments can be as long or a short as you'd like them to be. You can answer one or each of the questions asked, it's totally up to you, BUT, in order to be entered into the COLS giveaway (which you also had to sign up to win), you do need to be actively participating in the read-a-long.

Today's discussion is about: Chapter 19: Hell Is Satisfied
  • Aw, poor Jace. My heart really broke for Jace in this scene. Do you think he'll be able to recover from all that's happened and gain that inner strength we've all come to admire about him back?
  • Were you guys surprised over Alec's actions with Clary? I was a little surprised he would be so quick heal her for Jace and than briefly talked to her about Jace. I like that Clary observes how much he's changed and the surety he know has.
  • Jace and Sebastian are now as one, meaning they're now bound to each other. If the stele that Clary used to cut Jace to sever his tie to Lilith wasn't strong enough to break his bound with Sebastian, do you think anyone or anything else can break it?
Tomorrow we're conclude the read a long with our over all thoughts of COFA and talk about our COLS predictions.

Please DO NOT POST SPOILERS. There's some fans who are joining the read-a-long who are reading COFA for the first time.
